It gives me great pleasure to share the 2020 results of the Liberated Stock Trader Beat the Market System (LSTBTM) with my fellow subscribers of Stock Rover. Exclusive to Stock Rover Premium Plus Subscribers, the LST BTM system had a truly outstanding year, with the system returning a profit of 51.8% vs. the S&P 500 return of 18.4%. Beating the market by 33.4% is impressive.
No one knows how long a system will perform so well, but so far, so good with a track record of seven out of the last eight years of beating the market results.
This screener is exclusively available for download in the Stock Rover’s Investor Library. Further details on the backtesting and methodology at www.liberatedstocktrader.com/lst-beat-the-market-screener.

Stock Rover is an Excellent Tool for Research & Analysis
You can be so creative with Stock Rover, but it can sometimes be overwhelming for the new investor. The key to any successful investing methodology is to decide what you are looking for. Do you seek value, growth, income, or a mix of all three? Whatever you seek, Stock Rover can provide it.
The Ability to Compare Screeners, Watchlists, or Portfolios Against Benchmarks
For me, a fascinating aspect is the ability to compare any set of screening results to an underlying benchmark, be it the S&P 500, the NASDAQ 100, or something else. The point here is that if you do not believe that your stock selection will at least match the performance of the underlying index, you might as well buy an Index Tracking ETF instead.
Backtesting Your System is Key
Stock Rover enables you to backtest your stock selection or screener results to see what stocks your screener would have listed in the previous year. You can then plot those results against the S&P 500 to see what the performance would have been.
Always Have a Basket of Stocks & Funds
Never put all your faith in a small handful of stocks; it is always better to have at least 15 or more stocks to allow for diversification in your portfolio. Stock Rover can also perform excellent portfolio analysis, correlation, and rebalancing to help you manage your investments.
No system is perfect or guaranteed to work indefinitely. Did you know that according to Standard & Poor’s yearly SPIVA report, in any 3 year period, 92% of active fund managers fail to beat the S&P 500 results?
For 2021 My Approach Is.
This is my strategy only, and it meets my risk tolerance needs.
I rebalance the stock selection every January/ February. For 2021, the screener is returning 35 stocks to choose from. 35 stocks is a lot to buy, so you may want to select those you believe will be the best. The Stock Rover Research Reports can help you do that.
I wish you the best of luck with your investments in 2021. It promises to be an exciting year as we emerge from lockdowns and see the economy reopen for business. If you have any input or feedback, please leave a comment below.
